There are tons of splash pads closer to Atlanta, but what about for us in North Georgia? Here is a list of some local Splash Pads for Macaroni Kid Blue Ridge Dahlonega Dawsonville Ellijay Jasper area- take a moment to cool off and enjoy the warm weather!!
MEEKS PARK - Blairsville, Georgia
New in October of 2016- Meeks Park added a new splash pad! There are also baseball fields, skating park, basketball, tennis and pickleball (yes pickle!) courts.
Place: Hwy 15 in Blairsville
Time: Weekends only through Labor Day (11-6 Saturdays and Sundays 12-6)
Cost: Pool Admission
ROCK CREEK SPORTS COMPLEX - Dawsonville, Georgia
Rock Creek Sports Complex is located on Hwy 9 South and is home of the new Rotary Island Splash Pad!!! Rock Creek also consists of baseball/softball/t-ball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, gymnasiums, indoor meeting rooms, paved walking trail, outdoor basketball courts, and outdoor covered pavilions.
Place: 445 Martin Road, Dawsonville, GA
Time: Memorial Day Weekend Through Labor Day 10am-8pm Daily
Cost: FREE
Waleska, Georgia SPLASH PAD at CLINE PARK
Part of Cline Park, Waleska Splash Pad is an ideal summer hang out spot for those looking to chill out with your kids. Tons of jets and cascading water await you and your family. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the walking trails and other playgrounds that surround the splash pad. Make this a “Must-do” on your summer bucket list.
Place: Cline Park – 704 Bartow Street, Waleska, GA 30183
Time: 10:00am – 6:00pm through Labor Day (Weekends in August and Sept)
Cost: FREE
CHEROKEE COUNTY AQUATIC CENTER Holly Springs, Georgia
This one is also a pool, but the structure looks so much like a water park, I had to include it. See what Stress Free Baby has to say about the Cherokee County Aquatic Center.
Place: Cherokee County Aquatic Center – 1200 Gresham Mill Pkwy, Holly Springs
Time: Opens in May
Cost: $6 – $7 for daily admission
