Do you love the Pete the Cat book series? Pete made his puppet stage debut at the Center for Puppetry Arts April 4th and runs through May 28! The series is based on the New York Times best-selling books by Georgia authors James and Kimberly Dean, this original production has been in the making at the Center for more than two years. Audiences will travel through a day in the life of Pete and all of his groovy adventures that ensue!
This new show is a groovy adventure of one cool, skateboarding, surfing, rocking blue cat and his fine friends. This is a show that your little ones and you can both enjoy! Pete rocks out the stage with his friend while teaching life lessons to your kids and the narrator tells us the story with a guitar in hand. He is really good! My daughters loved the show and especially making Pete the Cat puppets afterwards. They can make their own puppet and then use the "stage" to premiere their own performance. Yes, this mom made a Pete puppet also- but with a "girl power" twist!
