Monster Energy Supercross - Lots of Fun!

By Lynne Westbrook, Publisher Macaroni Kid Blue Ridge February 26, 2017

With two little girls I did not know what to expect with their level of excitement at the Monster Energy Supercross event.  We had never been to a motorcross event so this was a first - lots of energy, excitement, sound, smoke in the air, audience activity, fire bursts, and your eyes are not sure where to focus as the racers take to the track. My daughters loved it and really enjoyed seeing the 7-8 year old junior riders race.  Now- they are asking when they can do it!

One of my favorite experiences was watching the riders take lift as they raced up the ramps and jump over several hills. They are completely airbound! This was a great sport to watch and experience in the crowd. Expect excitement, non-stop action, sounds and engine smells (bring ear plugs for littles), and lots of fun!  This was one of the last events at the Georgia Dome so it was even more special to be there on this occasion.  Whether you have boys or girls, I would put this on your "to do" list!

This was the 8th stop in a 17-race championship with Monster Energy Supercross.  Go HERE to learn more about the remaining stops throughout the United States and Canada now through October 2017.
