HOMESCHOOL JUNCTION

Keeping An Eye Out

By Lynne Westbrook February 5, 2017

Are you a homeschool family looking for events?

Now you have the opportunity to do just that!

ArtsBridge Foundation Field Trips range from science, social studies, history, dance, and music-based trips that are sure to engage, entertain and educate. Each hour-long performance is presented by nationally and internationally renowned performers and geared towards various grade levels from K-12. Trips are tied to curriculum, providing enriched learning experiences. The cost is $10 per student. Field Trips are presented by ArtsBridge at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339.

You can go to an organized field trip for a great price and you receive a comprehensive guide to help your child(ren) prepare for the event and incorporate into your curriculum.  We are a homeschooling family and my girls have loved going on these field trips.

ArtsBridge also has some opportunities for your 6th-12th grader to attend Spring/Summer Master Classes where they can experience a class taught by current cast members of a Broadway tour (go to http://artsbridgega.org/master-class/ for link to register).
